They also want RyujiNX and Yuzu to render frames in the right way, but the emulation of the Maxwell GPU in the Switch may prove to be an even greater challenge. The next step for both teams is to get more games working. Incidentally, the games run far from perfectly, but it is without a doubt an important step. At the moment, both projects can start three games: Puyo Puyo Tetris, Cave Story + and The Binding of Isaac. Two Nintendo Switch emulators are currently in development: RyujiNX and Yuzu. Two emulators in particular are now starting to show their potential, as several games can now be launched. Hackers got access to the Switch’s hardware just a week after its release, and since then some have managed to get Linux working on the console, while others have worked on the hardware emulation.
